How do I personalize my username and login?

Click "Members' Section home" link in the upper left corner of your screen to return to the members' section home page
Click "Update my member information instantly"
Click "Security"
Supply the requested information for changing your login and password
Click "Submit"

What if I forget my login and password?

If you have a current e-mail address in your member record, you can reset your password. Simply click the "Members' Login" button and then click "Reset my password." We'll send you an email with a link to a page that contains your login and allows you to reset your password.

Why should I provide my e-mail address?

Allowing SAA to have your e-mail address is the best way to do your Society business. We will send you an email confirmation whenever there is online payment activity. I want to emphasize that SAA will not release your e-mail to others nor use it for any purpose beyond Society business.

Setting Cookies for use with SAA's Members' only site

For Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher

  • On the Internet Explorer menu bar, select Tools and Internet Options
  • Next, select the Privacy tab
  • Select Edit from the Web Sites section
  • In the address of web site type, saa.org
  • Click Allow
  • Click OK twice to close all Internet Options windows
  • Try accessing the members' only site again.

How do I use the Printable Membership Directory?

In addition to the alphabetical navigation column to the left of the membership directory, there is a toolbar whose icons are explained below:

Print Report:  

Export Report:  

The export icon allows you to save the directory results in one of several file formats, including Acrobat PDF, Word DOC, and Excel XLS to your local machine.

In the popup box that appears, select where you wish to store the file on your local machine. In the filename box enter the name you wish to call the new file. In "Save as type" option from the dropdown selection box at the bottom, you can choose the file type such as Acrobat PDF, Word DOC, and Excel XLS.

The resulting files fluctuate in size, but are typically larger than 1MB. A highspeed connection is recommended for this operation.

Refresh:  

The directory is dynamically generated from our membership database. Using the refresh icon reloads the data appearing on your screen, guaranteeing you the most up to date information.

Navigation:

These icons aid in navigating the pages of data displayed on your screen. Their separate functions allow you to move one page to the left or right; to the first page; or to the last page; or move to a specific page by entering the page number.

Search Text:  

If you have a key word or phrase in mind, you can search by it using this icon.
