SAA Awards Program
Consistent with its mission to assist professional growth, the Society for American Archaeology (SAA) celebrates excellence across all career stages. With 27 distinct awards the organization recognizes excellence from students, early-career professionals, and established archaeologists who have made lasting contributions to the Society and the profession. These awards honor achievements in research, public service, teaching, and contributions in all employment sectors—highlighting the diverse and profound impacts of the archaeological community.
