Round Two of Meeting Access Grants Open for Applications

The Society for American Archaeology (SAA) announces the second round of Meeting Access Grants—up to $500 to successful applicants to defray travel, hotel, visa, poster printing, childcare, meeting registration, and other expenses that may be barriers to participating in the SAA 88th Annual Meeting in Portland Oregon. The deadline for the second round is November 15, 2022.
Applicants must be current members of the SAA and must belong to one (or more) of the following categories: student (undergraduate and graduate); first-generation college student; international member*; Indigenous, Native American, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, and First Nations person; and/or first-time presenter at the SAA 88th Annual Meeting.

* Following SAA Membership categories, international membership is afforded to persons living in Latin America and countries not listed below: Australia, Bahrain, Bermuda, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, Israel, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Libya, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Singapore, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United States, or Western Europe.
